Kate
Kate was born in New York City to a loving family. Kate's Dad was a New York City firefighter and Mary stayed home to raise the children, later going back to school and working as a medical coder. Her parents are still happily married. Kate is the oldest of three. Her younger sisters are Maureen and Bridget. Kate grew up going to Catholic schools and attended Providence College before moving to Boston for a job as an employee benefits consultant, where she met Seamus.

Seamus
Seamus was born in Boston to devoted parents, who met while working at Boston University and are still happily married. Seamus is also the oldest and has a younger brother. Seamus had a wonderful childhood, full of outdoor fun like sailing on the Charles River. Seamus attended Boston University and later began work in Boston as an insurance broker, where he met Kate.

We met while working together in Boston and enjoyed spending time outdoors while getting to know each other. With all of the biking around Boston, camping in New York and vacationing in Maine, Kate joked that we were "extreme dating" since Seamus always wanted to be outside. This picture is in Maine, where Seamus' parents live. We enjoying visiting Seamus' family in the summer. Lot's of beach time and lobster rolls!
We were married in 2016 at the Chapel at Boston University. This place is very special to both of us, but especially Seamus. Seamus attended Boston University and his parents were married in the same chapel about 35 years earlier.
We moved to Kate's hometown in New York in 2017 to be closer to Kate's family. It is a close knit beachside community that is only 25 miles from Manhattan. We spend a lot of time with Kate's family, who all live locally. We also go on two big family camping trips each year.
This is our home! We have a lovely home with three bedrooms. The house also has a beautiful fireplace, our favorite feature of the house.
We adopted a rescue dog, Nellie, from Georgia. She is a pointer and about 4 years old. She is a gentle and affectionate dog. She does very well with kids. We love taking Nellie for long walks on the beach and snuggling by the fire at night.
Our lives changed forever in 2021 when we adopted our son James. We were truly blessed to bring James into our family. James is now a 3 year old who loves trucks, bugs and his family. We are hoping to make James a big brother.
